"If I could just go back." A few things, sure, I'd change them. Overall? No I don't like thinking about this, too many "what if's," for me; I'd end up down the rabbit hole with what I should change.
it's not so much about what you'd change... it's just how simpler it was. I'd change a few things as well... but I'll be damned if I wouldn't enjoy just going back to my senior or junior year in HS for the schedule and dicking around with SO many people. My HS had maybe 600 people and I'd have to stop or walk and talk with 40+ in each 5 min break period my JR year (SR year I just could leave when lunch started if I didn't have basketball practice because I got my fucking work done) ...it makes you feel like a rockstar... I 100% get it.
actually, it's was the non-fucked up economy, at least here in europe. but thanks for trying to guilt me into thinking i'm a sentimental idiot who wants to remain an eternal child.
When Europe was rebuilt after WW2 it was rebuilt with technology 40 years older than what the US was using and the US thought nothing of it. It appears most countries in Europe (not all) realize that keeping their industrial complex up-to-date is a good idea instead of just chasing short-term profit.
