I’m 19 years old and still can’t say crap in front of my mom

My parents are more lenient with me swearing in front of them.

Are all American parents so strict with swearing

My mom NEVER EVER let's us say swear words in front of her or she will hit us with what ever is easiest to throw at us. Soda bottles,silver wear, shoes, one time my 2nd to youngest brother was hit with a cat lmao. I live in California while she lives in Texas and I am STILL afraid to cuss when I call her lmao. I am 35 years old lmao

I can swear in front of my parents, but when friends are over I don’t, and I ask them not to swear, since they’re my parents and all.
