Sometimes I honestly think that, apart from the Internet and my small circle of friends, people can't take offensive or dark jokes. They either don't understand or flip the fuck out.
True. I think in room of strangers I wouldn't tell an offensive joke. Around friends no limit. I think comedy is exempt from morals, logic, and a that SJW ,triggered , safe space, bullshit.
That is true but don't go to a comedy club , and be offended by Chris Rock making white people jokes if you're white, dont see Liza Lampanelli if you're a black man and be offended by how she pick out of the audience and rag on someone. Comedy shouldn't offend people because of some SJW says to ban that kind of free speech because it can penetrate my safe space and trigger me.
To make people believe that it's a joke, however offensive it may be. You gotta have a specific sense of delivery. Shock value, humorous display of hands, sometimes raise your voice etc. Not a lot of people find deadpan interesting and combine it with offensive comedy; You would probably be in jail. So, if you are telling an offensive joke, either smile a little or sometimes let out a little laugh OR have a specific style of delivery.
