One of my brothers only ever calls my mom if he needs something money or whatever. So I told her I will always call just to say hi and check how everyone is doing and give an update on me and my husband and kid. So she returned the favor by only calling when something is wrong or someone is hurt dieing or dead. Thanks Mom. lol.
Depends. I know some people I haven’t seen in ten years and if they called for a favor I wouldn’t say no if I had a way. In my industry it’s common to have friends who you rarely or ever talk to or even see except when you are doing favors. They are good people and you like them, but you just don’t have time. When you need something you call and when they need something they call. You may have a lunch or forward something you saw once in awhile. To me, it really depends on the person. If they are a good person, if they would help you, if you trust them and they are loyal, you take care of them. Honestly I would rather have someone not waste my time and when they need something just skip the bs and ask. If we both want to hang out or talk after we can. The type of favor matters too. More troublesome favors requires a little more of a relationship.
