This would not be out of place in some Fallout game.

They sold those in the 50s. The sales stopped because, as it turns out, they included live samples of Uranium 235 and Plutonium 238 in it. They were basically selling cancer.
Lots of my fulirst chemistry sets in the 50s sold a lot of highly dangerous chemicals with them. There was a case of a boy burning a whole through his pants at the theatre cause he took a sample of a chemical compound with him to show off to friends later. I don't remember if he was injured too or was it just his clothes.
