Digestion is something your body does all throughout your entire lifespan. Menstruation only happens after puberty. Just my thought. But then again I have no uterus. So, most would say no opinion.
Digestion doesn’t actually cause pain because there are no pain receptors in the stomach. Your brain isn’t ignoring the pain impulse, it was never sent in the first place. But if there were pain receptors digestion would probably hurt like a bitch.
Because, seriously, not getting cramps makes absolutely NO sense when the entire cause of menstruation is the uterus contracting to expel its sloughed off lining.
