Pitbull who loves to scream (FeelGoodSubstance)

Had it happen with a few animals. All of them ended up adopted after the week grace period so never ended up having to bring them home again. Which is still a happy ending

They wouldn't hold them for you? Every time I did it was with the understanding that if the owners didn't show up to claim the animal I'd adopt it

Well what tended to happen was we'd agree to a 1 week period to give any owners a chance to show up. After that, if no one wanted them, we'd bring them home. It's not that we didn't want Them, but at the time my family already had several pets so we weren't actually LOOKING for more. If no one had taken them we absolutely would have, and I was always somewhat bittersweet to hear they'd gone haha.
