Yeah, how would you feel if you told someone to kill themselves and they were already suicidal, and your joke pushed them over the edge and they did it?

If this would have been a bad mspaint drawing, everyone would be laughing, but since it uses appropriate pictures, people are getting offended. It's showing the stereotypical differences between men and women. Women think they're fat no matter what size they are and guys think they're good looking and muscular no matter what size they are. Stop getting so offended.

I'm not offended by the post, I'm offended by the guest who said "Drink bleach if you can't laugh". I had a close friend who committed suicide because she was bullied and these girls told her to kill herself, and one day she did. I couldn't sleep that night because I kept telling myself "It was your fault, you could've stopped them" and I didn't. And I have to live with that for the rest of my life. It may seem like a joke to some people, but it's serious. What if you told someone to kill themselves and they really did?

Like I said, I agree, suicide is not something to joke about.

As someone who has passed through suicidal periods, I think you SHOULD be able to joke about it. It makes things just that little bit more lighthearted. People who are genuinely feeling suicidal hate the pity more than the jokes about suicide. And I think we should also stop blaming other people for a person's suicide; you can't make someone commit suicide with your words. A suicidal person isn't thinking rationally (usually), so logic doesn't apply in that situation. Only people who don't understand mental illness believe that (melodramatic and sentimental teenage girls for example).

I've also battled with suicide and it personally hurts me a lot if someone tells me or someone else to kill themselves. There is a difference between a joke and a serious matter

if you commit suicide because of something someone said over the internet, there wasn't much hope for you there anyways. If you are suicidal and jokes about it hurt your feelings...."THEN STAY OFF THE INTERNET!!!"

Suicide should NEVER be a joke.
