So smoke in an enclosed area no longer floats to encompass fish sitting in a bowl. Good to know. I'll sure miss smoked salmon.

Smoke is a flavor in itself.

Youre all living in a different era. Men were killed for cowardice because they suffered shell shock. Most were drafted and not expertly trained. This isnt modern military and we have todays rules of warfare and basic human rights because of the atrocities of the past.

Sorry but your idealism is showing. War in itself isnt right. Killing isnt right. These people had to watch people die and be the ones killing. None of that is right. But it is what they had to live with. Its war. Theres no black and white. Its all horrible. It was the lesser evil.

The 3-6 month thing is for people who use their shoes frequently. Running wears them out and you lose material and support. Overused shoes will affect how you run. My mom had to change hers every 2 months when she was young because of how long and often she ran. It applies doubly for me because I supinate and can't handle additional stress from bad shoes.

There's no issue with thing like tail lights either. Most of the time they'll just tell you about it and the off chance they write a ticket, you get it fixed and it goes away anyway. Sure, innocent people can feel nervous, but you're just as likely to have a problem with a cop as any other human being so unless I'm doing something I shouldn't, I personally don't get bothered seeing a cop.

I choose skinny. Then I can eat tacos every other day, as many as I want, to make up for the other days and still be skinny!

Legality is relative to the ruling faction. When the government in power issues a document saying it's okay that makes it legal whether it goes against a countries PREVIOUS laws or not.

The holocaust wasn't considered a "crime" in the countries perpetuating it. That's the point. Its those of different values which cause change. The North changed slavery, Allies changed the holocaust, civil rights changed segregation.
It's not like the others weren't crimes against humanity in their own ways, yet were still legal.

Ah, but the only way to test that would be to go off my medication and then if it doesn't fix it, i'll probably end up in the morgue since it takes 2 weeks to get the medicine back in my system. So really, what's better: a risky experiment or a few extra pounds? I'm perfectly happy at last, and being happy is a truly wondrous thing.

I jog 3 miles a day and can probably do laps around "skinny" people who don't exercise. But my PTSD medicine makes me gain weight. Unless I literally starve myself I don't lose a pound. And I'm okay with that because I'd much rather live to be 60 than kill myself tomorrow.
The point is people struggle with weight for more than just one reason and berating someone who has probably hated themselves for being socially unacceptable at some point is just going to lead to more problems for them, mentally and physically.
