Solar panels cost too much?
So I read that the bottles are supposed to pay for the food. If the machine just gives out food all the time that's a bit of money. The bottles for food idea encourages recycling too. People feel bad for animals so they're more likely to recycle if they see it helping these poor babies?
It looks like there is a small solar panel on the top

It depends on your sleeping and eating patterns. If you get into the pattern of eating then sleeping all the time it can lead to weight gain because your not burning off the calories your consuming.

One Halloween when I was 5 I was trick or treating and there was a house with a big Yoda sitting on the porch. I didn't know it was a guy in costume. He would scare the teenagers but didn't want to scare the little kids so he held very still. He turned his head like an inch to see our group of kids and that little movement scared the crap out of me. I kicked him and took off running and screaming. I ran 5 blocks and fell like 3 times spilling all my candy :(

Yeah, I can kind of see that. She could have just said "Babe, tell them what color your shirt is" I've done things similar to this with my husband but it was all in good nature..never to make him feel small or dumb...more because I thought whatever I was teasing him about was cute. Imo the fact that this guy thought his shirt was dark white is kind of cute and funny. I'd probably bring it up in conversation too.

Teasing your bf/gf is natural and fun. It's when the teasing becomes belittlement that's the problem. If she had said "this dumbass thinks it's dark white" That would be harsh

"You're going to be a human being for a long time.." I love that. My parents always overreacted when I spilled stuff or did anything wrong. Whenever my son spills something or makes a mistake I think of how my mom/dad would have reacted and do the exact opposite. Try to teach him the best thing to do in whatever scenario.

My cat goes on hikes with us. We don't take her on trips like this but when we go hiking she comes along and follows the kid around
