Basically: if it's got many arms and a round head, it's an octopus

I do the same with funsubstance, instagram and candy crush

Also octopi are considered to be more intelligent than squids, although this hasn't been proven yet

Well basically while an octopus has 8 arms, a squid has 8 arms and 2 tentacles, a different head shape and a bone-like structure. Also octopi live on the seafloor, squids in open waters :)
