Sadly NY no longer requires parental consent for a minor to have an abortion. Potential side effects include death or permanent infertility, but NY decided that minors can make this decision. It sounds like some of you want to make the decision for the child in this anecdote. Maybe she she weighed the options doesn’t want to risk her own life. Minors cannot purchase or consume tobacco, seek medical treatment, consent to a tattoo, purchase or consume alcohol, enlist in the armed services, have a full time job, drive after 9pm under normal circumstances, purchase a firearm, purchase spray paint, purchase a knife, and several other things; however in New York State they can have an optional medical procedure with potentially disastrous side effects without parental consent. That’s messed up.

Mine went from $165-$237 in two years. Cancelled all but internet and streaming last week and they told me the $49.99 Internet was only for new customers and I had to pay $69.99. Streaming was advertised at $21.99 and they’re nailing me for $34.99.
