Quite the contrary, actually. There's practically a vegan substitute for everything, including vegan egg, which can be used in both omelets and cakes (and the cake is reaaallly good too). It all just depends how skilled you are at cooking, honestly.

Many cows are stuffed full of hormones to produce milk, which isn't healthy for the cows at all. Plus, instead of roaming free, they're still held in captivity. And even though I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I prefer almond milk, because drinking another animal's tiddy milk seems a bit wrong to me.
