No, we also don't have to hold the door for the person behind us, we don't have to not fart in the elevator, we don't have to give up our seat on the train for the old lady standing, we don't have to say please or thank you...doesn't mean we aren't being dicks.

Iron sights are pretty much the same. Dot sighy is self explanatory. I think he will do fine.
