I know how she feels, it took a long time to find a doctor or dentist that would believe me. Thankfully my current guy gets it (shoutout to doc Rezac if you're on here for some reason)

Very not fun fact: I have a super high tolerance for anesthetic, and as a result procedures that shouldn't hurt hurt immensely! I found this out at the ripe old age of ten and now I'm afraid of doctors and dentists
