The secret garden
It makes me happy every time I read it

Wuthering Heights. The language. I still remember I tried to read that book when I was in 6th grade. The English sounded to me like some sort of heavenly language. I read it again once my language got better and man it's some story. But yeah the main reason will always be the language.

Zoya - Danielle Steele
.. Sad, sweet, romantic, beautiful, perfect. I highly recommend it:
Zoya, russian countess, escapes Russian Revolution and goes to Paris. Becomes ballerina; meets different mysterious characters and goes through many hardships and joyous moments.

It's not my favourite series, but I've recently been reading the Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski and I'm really enjoying it.

Ok guys there's this fukin book I can't remember for shit but here's the plot:
There's a society that lives in a big walled cage (not Maze Runner) and they have a really big military (Not Divergent) and the girl wants to become a sniper on the wall to protect against whatever's out there (not Hunger Games) and her friend becomes one of the soldiers and she realises they're all brainwashed. Her mother is working in a farm on the other side of the wall. Also, in the tower where she snipes are the people that control the soldiers. They're priests or something.... she ends up blowing up the tower.

I feel bad bc everyone's favorite series here is something deep or meaningful and almost poetic, and here I am saying my favorite series is Percy Jackson.
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but compared to everyone else rn I feel so uncultured

If there's any series I adore, it's probably the Gender Games series

The Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath trilogy by Cornelia Funke.

@timebender25 the movie they made for that is one of my favorite movies. Love those books too! But Brenden Fraiser... <3

@laughingbeth the movie wasn't accurate to the books in the slightest.
Even Percy Jackson got a better movie.

Shhh... Brenden makes it ok ;). I read them after I watched the movie so it was not really disappointing to me.

@dr_richard_ew if it makes you feel any better, I'm enjoying the Witcher series because there's plenty of dick jokes and sexual innuendos. Not just because of that, but basically.

Percy Jackson is great, no one can badmouth that series and expect to get away with it.

Eye of the world series by Robert Jordan. Found it absolutely captivating. Had to be finished by Brandon Sanderson due to Jordan's death.

Get well soon by Julie halpern. It’s about a girl that goes to a mental hospital because she has depression and I like to know that there are other people are like me
