Trees vs hemp 12 comments

What are the bullet points for hardiness of the plant (water requirements, pest control/pesticide, soil quality after X years). How about large scale production? Is it easier to harvest and process? What is done with the by-product of hemp production? How about habitat? Do hemp fields support dynamic ecosystems with bio diversity? Do birds nest in hemp? You can't take complex problems and whittle them down to a few bullet points. I'm not arguing against the points, but no one should be swayed by information that can only be sourced back to pro-hemp industries.

It's sort of like driving from Germany into France... some places take care of their roads; some don't. And you can feel the difference.

The problem is that most global religions require the spreading of their faith and/or the suppression of non-believers.

This is why I'm not a Catholic Christian 19 comments

Have you traveled around Europe? Every single Catholic Church is a testament to the raping of the population and the glorification of man. Not a single Catholic Church represents the teachings of Christ. Not a single cross. Not a marble baptismal pool, not a fresco, not a gold plated dais, not a church bell... nothing. Hundreds of years of indulgences to get your dead family into heaven. The Catholics are the antithesis of Christ's teachings.

But if these inmate workers end up competing for government contracts, they end up hurting legitimate companies. We need an old road removed. Inmates can do it for $34. Joe's Construction will do it for $15,000. Joe and his guys are going to lose out.
