Oh god its the tree change lady. This is so stupid. There's plenty of other dolls that fit the view she's looking for. Bratz were supposed to be about not caring what anyone else thinks and you doing you. By doing this this lady is saying that anyone who doesn't have a natural look is overly sexualized simply for putting makeup on. There's nothing sexual about a fashion doll for kids.
I also remember looking it up awhile back and the dolls being very overpriced, which no one wants to buy for their kids who will just mess it up because thats what kids do.
So fuck this lady.

My school did something similar cause I wore some jeans that had a pattern on them and were a color besides denim blue and they called my mom and accussed her of not buying me regular clothes and sending me to school in pajamas.

I mean I actually grew up on a street where I wasn't usually allowed to play because the neighbors would train dogs for the fights and let them roam the street and they'd try to jump the fence and attack us and other kids

Its always the people who complain about the lack of a certain demographic in a field who choose not to go into it. I've heard far more people who have useless degrees complain than people who went out and got good ones.

^same, the other day my sister got all bitchy at my nephew because he was asleep in the room her computer was in and it was on the floor, and my mom tried explaining to her that our dad put him in there so it could have been him since my nephew was asleep the whole time, and she was like " I WAS JUST ASKING YOU DON'T HAVE TO ATTACK ME " while she was acting like she was 100% it was my nephew and he was just lying or something and making his stutter worse and getting mad when he took too long to reply

Id just like to correct a small part, @ewqua , the engagement ring craze started at the beginning of the 20th century, not just a few years ago. Also the main reason they can up the diamonds prices is cause only one company owns and sells them so they cost more than necessary. Similar to eyeglasses and sunglasses, ir das either one company owns all of the shops or one company makes all of the lenses so thats why glasses can be hundreds of dollars and you can't really just get a basic pair for cheap.
