It's at times like this that I'm really proud of my culture. Like yeah we're such badass mofos that the entire geometry of the town had to be planned around that. And now when we want to protest about something (aka pretty often) we have all the space we need!
Boy do we protest often. If it is protestable we will protest it. If we dont understand we will protest it. Hell, if we enjoy it we will still protest it.

France gets a lot of crap, but one of the nicest girls I've ever met is French. There's a saying that goes, "I may hate France, but Iove the French."
Not saying we're assholes (parisians may be a particular case). But all of my foreign friends who visited france said the opposite, which ca be summed up by this quote :
"God created France, the most beautiful country in the world with so much good in it, and ended up feeling guilty about it. He had to do something to make it fair. And so, he created the French people."
So i guess it goes both ways ?
