I lived near there in the late 70’s. In the first grade we would take field trips to visit. Lots of neat polished rocks sold in the tourist shops. A while ago they actually paved over the river.. very weird. I revisited the area last year after being away for almost 40 years. Church seems smaller and a lot more cars. Interesting to see subby post this.
