I was too but I tried and it gets easier with time. Barbecue some potatoes and start enjoying life. Just cange the portions 25 percent of what you like and 75 percent of vegetables. This will lower your intake and your body will start burning the fat then you can start light exercises like walking
The best diet is one that you can keep doing for the rest of your life. People use really restrictive diets and loose a lot of weight, but just gain it right back when they stop the diet. So chose a diet you can live with and stick to it. Your weight might come down a lot slower but you'll keep it off longer.
