I never actually watched Euphonium. I didn't like K-On! back in the day, and as a result Music+Kyoto Animation scared me off.

In my personal experience most of the people I know who (claim to) have insomnia have pretty lethargic lifestyles, and fall asleep really quickly on the odd occasion that they're physically active for a significant portion of a day.
So that might help too.

If there is risk, I don't want to obligate someone to take it for the sake of an animal.

I don't want to put a human in a position where he's risking his life for an animal, it as simple as that.

Because I enjoy having pets. My unwillingness to put a human at risk to rescue them doesn't affect that.

I don't actually really want someone to risk their life for my pets. If they choose to, fine, but I probably wouldn't even mention my pets to a first responder unless they specifically asked.
