Not like that, but when I worked at a bakery it was hard to not slap a cake out of people’s hands...daily.

My current husband was my best friend for 5 years before I finally realized we were perfect together. It was an amazing feeling to finally be with someone who appreciated me and all my quirks instead of being with a jerk who was abusive in every way.

A friend of mine taught my daughter to ride a bike with two wheels- I loved her for it!
My cousin taught my son to ride a bike with no training wheels- he now has a great memory with his cousin. I don’t mind sharing those memories with people close to us.

I have cereal containers to fix that issue since my kids like to leave the bag open in the box and then complain that it tastes weird and they don’t like it.

That’s awesome, unless they have a rule about no outside food or drink like most restaurants. I’m not banned from anywhere that I know of but I don’t like Steak ‘n Shake anymore in our town because it always takes forever to get service.

Honestly I’d like this better. No one opening the bottles or taking the shake ball out.

A truer story has never been told 16 comments

When I was 20 I had started casually dating a guy... until I found out he thought that women had to orgasm to conceive a child. When I tried explaining that I’d never had an orgasm he called me a liar and pointed out that I had a kid so I had to have orgasmed at least once. We broke up. Immediately.

Does anyone do this? 50 comments

I do this with my kids. I don’t trust people’s driving skills so I like to have them away from the street.

Any proposal ideas? 3 comments

My husband put on a Bruce Springsteen song with my name in it and pulled over onto a street which also had my name. He got down on one knee and proposed and I of course said yes! It was very sweet and I loved it!

Small town fire department throws shade at people complaining about noise 11 comments

If you live near a fire station you get used to the sirens pretty quickly. We have one *directly* behind our house and a police station about two blocks over. It’s an amazingly safe area to live, but when I first moved in the sirens sucked. A week later I didn’t notice them.

For people who are always late 3 comments

That’s pretty clever! I like the idea, but I would still probably be late unfortunately. I don’t intend to be- I just hate leaving my house and being around other people.

Lavender is for love at first sight or enchantment.
Blue is for the unattainable or impossible.
(I got those two colors blended into my last rose tattoo because when I first met my best friend I fell for him but we couldn’t be together so we stayed friends. 5 years later we were married! I also have the red rose next to it.)
