I help my husband play. Like I tell him where the bad guys are shooting from or help him if he doesn't notice items he should pick up or help him figure out how to beat hard bosses.

Dogs do this due to floating limb syndrome it has something to do with miss firing in the brain and nerve endings in the body part they attack. Some think it is also due to the mother dog being unable to care for the dog during it's socializing stage of growing up.
The animals won't stop because they see that body part as a separate person/animal and they feel threatened so they growl first as a worrying but seeing as it is their own leg it can't go away so they attack it as if it was a separate animal.
I had a dog go through this after she was hit by a car she lived but she would attack her right leg just like this we took her to the vet and they told us all about it. They said if it was her tail it be a bit easier to treat because they could take the tail off.

We take a picture of our daughter every single year in the parking lot of the school on first day and when she graduates we will have all them framed together. As of now I been making colleges of each yeah and one of all the past years together and I send copies out to my family back in Texas. She is in 4th grade and already you can see her growing up over the years.
