10 years ago I was 14. And I have to say she would like the 24 old me. I've accomplished a lot and still like the same weird stuff. Just less emotional haha
12-14 is the age when you're trying to pretend to be grown up but your sense of identity is poorly developed so you end up throwing yourself into weird groups or fandoms or trends to try to define yourself by those things, get embarrassingly obsessed with it, and then regret it later once you've figured yourself out a bit more
My old English teacher is 31 and she loves anime and is officially unofficially married to Levi. She opened a club at our school so my friends and I could come watch anime on the smartboard in her classroom. We called it "Media Appreciation" and the principal didn't catch on until the second semester.
If me14 me met me now, she would be so disappointed and shocked like 'what on earth happened to you!?'
