I thought that, but I've always thought of and seen him portrayed as being much bigger.
I do like how she is drawn in what looks like Renesance era Greco-roman style.

Figured it out... it wasn't Renaissance era I was thinking of, but I was pretty sure I'd scene it before. It's based on The Death and the Maiden by Pierre-Eugène-Emile Hébert from the 19th century.
Turns out that Astor Alexander took inspiration from the old masters for this series, Baroque Zelda.

Get a load of the detailing in some of the close ups. The resolution here really doesn't do it justice.
