Well ok in reality I think they do still have enough money to last them quite a while, but they got bought out to a different company, cancelled a bunch of projects in order to make room for projects they think will sell better (shrek 5 being one of them), and having come out with totals bombs recently such as trolls, boss baby, Captain underpants, and Mr. Peabody and Sherman
Again, I doubt they'll be going anywhere for a while, and not EVERYTHING has gone to shit for them (their Netflix shows I heard a re excellent, Captain underpants was decent even if it didn't sell too well, and kung fu panda 3 was pretty great), I'm just mostly afraid that they'll never be as good as they used to be, and one day may even dissolve to the lows of Sony pictures animation.
....(please Sony let Into the Spiderverse be good)
I tried to really like Captain Underpants... I really did. I couldn't.
Kung Fu Panda is my shit though.... and they did something hilarious; they made China look at themselves and ask "why can't we do that with our own fucking stories?"
DreamWorks is nothing without the old team back when they made El Dorado, Spirit, Sinbad, and Prince of Egypt.
They've done really well with the first Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda, but if you've noticed, they're focusing on sequels and not "new" movies
I love dreamworks and they're my favorite, but I don't believe they have the same spark like they used to
Get with the program
kys lul
