The thigh and leg is the most tender and juicy part of the chicken but it also happens to be the fattest part of the chicken. But it is also the cheapest part of chicken. So it's kind of a toss-up. Do you want to go with the most flavorful, cheap yet unhealthy. Or the healthiest. That's it, it only has that it's healthier. Though it is healthier and more well-known and larger it is more expensive less juicy and less tender. Of course this is all if you make sure to remove the skin.
