It's not as stupid as it seems, the writers are genius, near the beginning of the show fry says he couldn't sleep because the monkey he was bunking with in college just kept thinking. This proves to how over a period of many seasons later he actually learns (to an extent) the ability to read minds.

WE FORGET THE REAL REASON FOR NOT VACCINATING KIDS. PARENTS THINK IT GIVES THEIR KIDS AUTISM! I just wanted to remind everyone this isn't about the "kids dying" it's about the opinion (whether its correctly justified or not) of the parents.

That's not natural selection at all. Natural selection is a physical trait, i.e. if the kids were somehow immune to vaccinations that would be natural selection, these kids that are "dying earlier" aren't proving anything, all that could be done is as shown in the cartoon, to make vaccines mandatory for kids that enter school, but this still doesn't "fix" the parents that are against vaccines.
