If you think about it though, as a baby you can't see all the colors, and so as you get older you see more and more colors but it could just us realizing that there is no such thing as soul mates but we are always surrounded by people that love us and that's just as good. And that could be the same reason that people usually explain dying and going through a dark tunnel, because at that moment, no one is there to love us, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, where we get to see the people who loved us again.
