I wasn't going to pull the std crap because the std argument is crap. But living in a society with legalized prostitution would really make people wonder where America is. It's illegal because it's demeaning to the workers, and it exploits them greatly. Also, it has been proven in other countries (like Bulgaria) to expand the sex slave market, unfortunately.

One time, our teacher didn't hire a sub (we had a really bad teacher). So, we actually were allowed to leave, but the catch is, you can only leave the *class*. You can't leave school grounds.

No. No. That isn't why people rape. Also-- there's something called illegal prostition? It's where you break the law and sell sex anyway?

You can. It's called prostitution. And do you think people get raped because the rapist wanted sex? What about the whole "violence toward women" aspect?

CONS
• As a society, people will really question our morality. Things like prostitution and drugs are seen as "bad" and "dangerous" and something you don't participate in as a good citizen. Both prostitution and drugs would be a lot safer if government regulated, but people will wonder if they want to live in a society were those things are legal. If you're talking about America, America's supposed to be this land of opportunity, freedom, and even safety because a lot of people immigrate here for security reasons, and if we legalized all drugs, we be one big step further for that image.

American date 17 comments
abigailhobbs · 10 years ago
Its so we can more easily look up things. So, when companies file things by date, to find it, they only have to remember the month it was filed, instead of the date, which can be difficult months and years later. Even if you don't remember the month, you can still think "it was in the summer" and so now, you can look over a period of 3 months to find it. If the date came first, all the months would be scattered when you organized them, and finding things would be difficult! So yeah.

He's saying that some of the people who talk about God the most don't know what God's all about. They'll hate on black people, gays, lesbians, transgenders, immigrants, the poor, the sick, non-Christians, Christians who aren't in their denomination! And then they quote the bible to justify it. What they don't realize is that God is really all about loving everyone and helping everyone. :) sorry about the long explanation, and maybe I'm wrong, but this was my interpretation of what guest was trying to communicate.

I would like to respectfully disagree. It is my personal belief that as a parent, while you want your child to share your values, and have ever right to try to pass them on in anyway you can, children should be able to choose for themselves what they like or do not like. I'm not saying if you're child wants to be a "swaggot" let them go at it, I'm saying that if you teach them that things like kindness, humility, and honest are important, then you won't have to worry about them joining the "yolo"-ers or the Hashtags because they'll make good decisions for themselves. Then, your child will be happy because they're who're they are (instead of a smaller version of you) and you will be happy because they're developing they're personality and who they are as a person.

This is so fake. I tried this and all it did was blow my water around and made it colder. But then I made a nic in the wire, and put it in the tub it warmed it up like a heater! Try it I swear it works
