Not all graffiti-style art is vandalism, people. It really grinds my gears when people use beautiful pieces like this (which would more than likely be commissioned, or at least done with permission, thinking logically) to act like they're some kind of special snowflake going against the sheep mindset or something. Again, I repeat: not all graffiti-style art is vandalism.

I have a feeling that the people who make this argument never actually read the books. Do you know how complicated time turners are? And the concept of time in general? The biggest argument, I think, is that if one team used time turners, then the other team could, too. Say the Order used a time turner to try and stop the Potters from being murdered, or something like that; why couldn't the Death Eaters use one to try and meet their goals, too? The answer: it would have fucked EVERYTHING up beyond repair. Neither the Order nor the Death Eaters are dumbasses. Like lihea said, time turners are best used for innocuous goals.

I mean, when the Ministry of Magic was overrun by Death Eaters, they probably destroyed all records of the Muggleborns to keep them out of Hogwarts. That's probably why we didn't get our letters.

Does that collection can even have a lid? Maybe I've lost all faith in humanity, but I have a feeling some douchenozzle would sneak a handful or two of anything donated.

I don't think these posters could be classified as "minimalist," as interesting as the style is.

It would be hard to get any legal evidence that would stand up in court, though. There would be too many "he said/she said" stories, hearsay, and corrupt witnesses. It'd be unlikely you'd get actual justice.

Old vs. Young people 23 comments
adrenalinekisses · 8 years ago
I used to work at a kind of clothing store thing, and while I'll say that trend is right, teenagers/young people are usually the ones that tear apart all the clothes racks, and the other young people I worked with had the bigger tendency to be as lazy and avoid work at all costs. It's pretty useless to argue over which age group is the biggest asshole, because everyone's an asshole.

Am I the only one who think about this? 7 comments

Yep. The Human Torch (Johnny Storm, I think his real name is) is brother to the Invisible Woman (Susan Richards), who marries Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards).
I loved the original cast, though, I hate to think of them all being replaced just because Chris Evans as Captain America.

I know I'm a little bit late on this one, but I think I have a valid point.
Female breasts are a lot more sensitive. If we were allowed to just have them hanging out in public, like guys do, it could lead for a lot more general problems, sexism and sexualization and things like that aside. I mean, on a hot summer's day where guys just go around shirtless-- if women did, I think it'd be pretty awkward. I mean, as a woman, I cringe to imagine how bad it would hurt if I was just casually walking around shirtless and tripped boobs-first onto the pavement. I myself am pretty clumsy, so I imagine that things like that would happen a lot. Having boobs just hanging out unprotected would be pretty inconvenient for us, regardless of everything else.

People actually do commonly hire artists to paint murals like that, or at least that's a common thing near me.

Okay, what really bothers me is the people saying "How can graffiti be frowned upon?!?!?!?!" on pictures like this, and similarly impressive artwork. Artwork like that usually takes ages, so you would need permission to paint there. The only type of graffiti that people generally ACTUALLY have a problem with are people spray-painting their names or a dick on a bathroom wall or something stupid like that. Nobody's frowning upon this kind of thing, and it's not actually vandalism.
