I don t think that it s weird that John Langdon-Davies predicted that democracy will be dead by 1950. The guy lived when totalitarian regimes (like Third Reich, USSR) were reaching their peak.

I know you didn t but beyonce s idea of confidence and self-love is based in sexyness. I mean, you ve seen her videos surely :D rolling on the table is not giving anyone (be it males or females) confidence in long term really. Also, suffragettes somehow succeeded in raising their voices without late 19th century Beyonce.

Yeah, I don t think that structural problems in society can be solved with every woman feeling sexy :D That being said, feminism in not self-help movement, but a social one.

omg :D I never wriote posts on this site until nw, but this amount of feminist hate is astounding. Femen is absolutely the scum of the feminist movement as they completely miss the point as some of the crazy sects in religion when they misinterpret the point of religion. All these girls (beyonce not included) are for equality of gender, whereas I see gender as hurtful concept to both men and women because that way we need to fulfill ideal of masculinity and feminity. Please, don t hate for this opinion beacuse I have nothing against putting make up on and similar. I just think that it has nothing to do with empowering. And Beyonce? Commericial artist who is reaping benefits of the fact that feminism is now popular.
