This is why, ladies and gentlemen, you get on the ground when the police say. Especially if they have a dog. They have no issue sending the dog after your ass. To the dog, it's a game of chase. They have no issue fucking you up if their handlers say to.

Adrenaline is an amazing chemical. People who have adrenaline pumping tend to last longer and have better abilities. There's been cases of people who have been pinned under cars and someone actually lifting the car by themselves to save the person thanks to the relase of adrenaline. The adrenaline lets our bodies go pass the pre-set limits for a time to survive.

Adrenaline and Fight or Flight are two very powerful things.

Also adrenaline is what is used in Epi-pens when are used for allergic reactions to fight off the 'toxic' substance. It increases your heart rate and all. So it's not really that far fetched.

Cops would only shoot a dog if it was attacking someone. Even then they'd discharge the weapon in the air to spook them first.
