• People do scream sometimes while having a seizure. It's the air leaving their lungs suddenly.
These are just some general rules to follow. If they have friends or family who know what to do. Let them instruct you or them do it. But what I've listed are some helpful, general tips in that situation.

Tips if someone is having a seizure:
• Roll them on their side. They could choke on their own vomit or spit.
• Put something soft under their head. In the jerking they could hit their head and get a concussion or worse.
• Ask if anyone is with them. If they are, ask if they know if the person has a history of seizures. Also check the victim's wallet, purse, or for a medical ID bracelet. Typically if they have a seizure disorder an ambulance isn't needed. So they have IDs to say so.
• Do NOT call an ambulance unless
- The seizure has lasted for more than five minutes.
- They are having one after the other.
- They seem to be choking or having difficulty breathing.
- The seizure happened in water
- They appear to be injured
- Or they ask you to after the seizure.
• Remain calm.
•Do not put a wallet in the mouth or get your hands near the mouth. They can't control muscles so they may bite and cause serious damage to you.
• Don't hold them down. Let the seizure run
