No, this happened to me when my great gran died didn't cry for 8 years straight. Came home one day no.one was there had been a really hard day and I just needed a hug cried myself to my bed so hard not a single sound came out of me. After that I would have thought I would cry more often but that didn't happen I haven't cried since then. It just builds up to a certain point and then all emotions rush out at once. I asked my aunt who's a psychologist if this was normal, she didn't really give me a clear answer she just said that it'll take its toll one day and when it does it will come at you hard.
