Well, when eggs first form, the zygotes are actually unicellular. But the 'eggs', as we know them, are really a collection of cells that grow and, if incubated by the mother, will develop into a lil bird--in this case, an ostrich. However, if they're not incubated (as these eggs usually are removed from the nest for consumption purposes), the small embryos die and all that's left is egg yolk, which is not living and does not, I believe, exist in cells, but rather molecules. So after it's laid, the singular cell has already split.

Oh god are you kidding me, as a high-school senior I can guarantee that the best schools charge at least 20k for tuition, so that usually rounds up to 35,000 a year. And oh god I would literally kill someone to not be in 100k of debt when I graduate college T.T
