Leaving out the starving, dying, and murders, camps aren't a completely unique idea--we even had our own around the same time for the Japanese /specifically/

It is, the diversity should be the end result. Not everyone doing the same thing as OP comments. The equality comes from everyone having an equal chance. The feminism is seeing that women get the same opportunities as men and vice versa (blurring the idea of Pink Collar jobs, for example)
