I guess, but I believe religion is all about choice and being informed on the consequence. Take it as a threat for action/inaction. You may still choose what to do, but some consequence will be met for your choices.

He wasn't being a douche. Truthful comment, they do look really awkward, their expressions supportive of that opinion. You're the ones being douches censoring his opinion and prioritising emotion over logic in my opinion
