1. Petting the dog will hurt the dog
2. Petting the dog will upset the dog
3. The dog is a service dog and will be distracted from his Important Job

Interesting protagonist
Action! I love excitement
Good music
Memorable-ness
I wasn't very impressed with the Little Mermaid (or Beauty and the Beast for that matter), but Hercules amazed me.

A girl in my AP biology class was testing duckling imprinting... except they imprinted on her dog. She showed us videos of the ducklings following the big yellow lab around in a perfect line. It was adorable
