Its true, all those 'slaves' are men who work for the big companies in the middle of the day during summer when it gets to 50 degrees celcius. A worker dies everyday from dehydration because of it but the government pays newspapers to keep it on the 'down-low' - I know this because I live there, they pretty much are slaves. Its inhumane.

I too live in Dubai and yes it's a city that's bankrupt and has completely insane laws. For example, we get deported for kissing in public.
