For marching band. The upperclassmen go to the freshmen's houses in the middle of the night, wake them up, and take them to someone's house and make them do silly things and we bond. We make sure to call parents first though and make sure it's okay, and it's a lot of fun

My older sister got a video of the other flutes waking me up for freshman initiation. The lights turn on and they start yelling, then all you hear is this unholy shriek and blankets start flailing, then pillows go flying off my bed. One of the girls still hasn't forgiven me for hitting her in the face with one

I think it's that a lot of depressed people tend to come to this site because the community here is ine of the best I've seen online and it really helps people to have their group. At least that's how it is for me.
