I suggest reading it, that series has been my favorite since I was a kid, and it was my gateway drug into fandoms. Please don't avoid something because you think it's overhyped.

My cat used to do that when we got our new one, and she got really fat. We had to put her on a diet and feed them separately until she decided she had sufficiently asserted her dominance

I'd rather have a boyfriend who's taller than me, but if I really like you, then whatever. The thing that bothers me about weight is that for the most part, weight isn't how fat you are. I'm really skinny, but I have a lot of miscle mass so I look like I weigh 110 but I actually weigh 145. Feet and inches give a much better indication of height than pounds do for how skinny you are.

Not many try because if they screw up and say something stupid, that's all the media will focus on forever. It's too politically dangerous to go unscripted.
