Well, they raise awareness and can inflame the people. If one was to shoot them from a gun, they would, in fact, be useless. But oddly enough, that's not what anyone does with hashtags, so maybe they can be useful.

No one degrades skinny girls! People say that all bodies are beautiful. This may come as a shock, but "all bodies" actually includes skinny. You obviously haven't considered that maybe some of the "fat girls" you just mentioned could have eating disorders. Maybe they're depressed. Maybe they're experiencing PTSD and they eat for comfort. Do you think this post made anyone feel any better?
