If they aren't promoting equality for both genders, they aren't FEMINISTS, they're MISANDRISTS. Misandrists are about putting women above men, which isn't what feminists are about. Educate yourself before you go hating on the wrong people.

It's not that feminists aren't fighting to be equal to men (because they very much are), it's that in the second picture, women are being demoted to a helpless role. And the caption, "only the strong will survive," doesn't help much either. Last time I checked, women were anything but helpless. It's not at all okay for anyone to get choked, but in this situation, it would be—not better, but more beneficial (for lack of a better term)—because 1/3 women are already abused. I'm not saying that it only happens to women, but compared to men, it is much more common. AND they aren't yet equal to men, they are FIGHTING to be equal to men. Which is why this photo is an issue, because (as I stated before), it is setting women back to the stage where they were only perceived as "helpless".

Who says that we need to label inanimate objects that are solely used to clothe ourselves as "slutty"?
