Many people who spend "too much" time with books and fandoms and whatnot while complaining about not having a social life have some form social anxiety or similar antisocial behavior. (Me) if you have people like this in your life it would mean a lot to them if you gently pressure them to do social things that they're comfortable with as it helps them sheep outside of their box. Some people just really, really love Benedict cumberbatch. (Also me) at least it's not cocaine.

I am the laziest piece of shit I've ever had the misfortune to meet and I miraculously managed to run a full mile for the first time in a few years a while ago. That being said, I agree with garlog on this one-- it can be difficult or even dangerous to run while severely or of shape. You have a good point though, sparklez.

Women can be seen as important now but there is still a lot of undercover sexism, along with more obvious forms of it. We are definitely advancing as a society, but that also proves that what we came from isn't so great.

Believe it or not, people were/are killed because of gender. In fact there are several posts on tumblr asking people in women's studies at colleges to stay safe as there are people on the internet trying to encourage initiating shootings there because they want to "shoot every dirty feminist" they see. It doesn't matter what's legal or not, people will usually try to act on whatever twisted ideas they come up with. If you take a moment to look up the history of Massachusetts you'll also find that women were tortured and killed after being accused of witchcraft. Are you trying to argue that there never has our will be a need for feminism?

Well, "frowning upon" something as you so eloquently say won't change it. And great, not legal to kill your wife, so the worst they could expect a few hundred years ago was being stoned to within an inch of their deaths. Please educate yourself, you're making yourself appear crude and unintelligent.
