Funfacts: hans chose the pipe organ as the main instrument for the interstellar soundtrack because it looks like part of a spaceship, also because he thought it captured the emotion that was the main part of the film. Critics thought that it was too overpowering especially while people were speaking but was symbolic for how emotions are stronger than what words can capture. Also it broke an imax theater.
