I like Apples products, however they are making a lot of stupid moves. USB-C is a very uncommon format, compared to the universal USB 2/3.0 format. They are, however moving in the direction of USB-C over Standard USB.

In Australia thats not necessarily true. They are paid more than nurses and at some public schools (government owned and run), its $50/hr

It is in Australia. Remember, We have a lower corruption rate, Less Gun crime, Lower Homicide, Need I go on. Less guns, Less Gun Crime means a less for ballistics to deal with.
