Yes other do have it worse and we should acknowledge if but saying we can't be sad because others have it worse than us is the same as saying we can't be happy because someone else has it better then us. We are all allowed to experience sadness because for that individual although that problem may not be the worse thing in the world it maybe the worse thing to ever happen to them.

Your personality changes and suddenly this once happy being is now scared of every move she makes because of the inevitable failure. Think of it this way the only way we can have heroes is to having villains. It makes the good shine when bad is present.

I believe what some of the older generation is trying to express to the younger ages is that we take love for granted. A lot of the time people throw love away because the believe that there is better love. I think that what many elders are saying is that instead of throwing that love away for something better build on that love and make that relationship better.

I believe what Hank is saying is correct on some level but in some ways this type of video is actually beneficial. Being a teenage girl going into the world of dating can be terrifying as it is for boys. When these boys - who are not bad looking - express aspects they like, young girls will hear one attribute that relates to them. This then gives the young women hope that they will find a boy. I am not saying women should become what a man expects. I think instead of looking at these videos in so much depth look at how they might help. Not everyone's intentions are to make people feel bad and we need to start viewing our world this way.
