Somewhat off topic, but when I was younger, we spent a lot of time at this playground that had a swinging wooden bridge, and if you stepped on it barefoot, the wooden slats would pinch the bottom of your feet. So, we avoided walking on it when possible. But my younger brother amazed us because it did not bother him at all. He could run across it and it wouldn't slow him down at all.
